CFB playoffs are the top 4 teams. Only one of those teams can win the national championship. #5 and below is SOL and playing for lesser bowls.

The Dawgs are on the outside looking in. Alabama, 2 Big 10 Teams (OSU & Penn State) & Clemson will be the 4 teams unless Penn State loses in the next ten minutes OR the Big 10 Championship game against Wisconsin.
