Earl can flip off anyone he wants...I appreciate his frustration, but it just makes him look childish, it sure didn't help his chances of getting paid by anyone.

The Hawks' management can come out and say it, but this is EXACTLY why they didn't give him an extension...they'd be totally smothered by TWO overpaid safeties that aren't playing if they had. Their decision to wait has turned out to be not only a good decision, but a rather prescient one, too.

The players are fond of saying "this is a business decision" when they hold out and ask for more money or extensions before their current contracts run out...but even the most fired up of them has to look at what happened with Kam, and then look at what happened with Earl, and see which one was the better business decision for the team.
