Waters West in Port Angeles. Dave was very patient and helpful to me as a kid wandering through his fly shop. Gotta like a shop where a black lab greets you with a lick on the hand.

John's Sporting Goods in Everett, Ted's in Lynwood, and Outdoor Emporium in Seattle. If they don't have it you don't need it. John's and Teds also have good info on their web sites

It used to be holiday sports in burlington but they have since gone expensive ..when they opened up their new store. Now it has to be wholesale sports in burlington..definitely cheaper.

Various online destinations
Barrier Dam store, pretty good selection and prices for a relatively small store.

I'm liking Ted's more & more for gear.
Used to like Outdoor Emporium, but liking them less & less every year that goes by.

For fly materials, locally The Avid Angler or Puget Sound Fly Co.

On line - Barlow's, Saltwater Edge, Stillwater, Bear's Den and Red Truck Fly Fishing.

I'll second the Defiance boat shop as a new favorite tackle shop. They aren't fully stocked yet but have inventory you need without having a thousand shiny packages of stuff you'd never want.

Dennis Company.

Elma, Monte, Aberdeen, and Raymond.

It is in my town, and has most of the stuff I use. The prices are higher than Sportco, but not enough to justify driving there.
