some Caddys do need it... mine is governed to 156 MPH, but i can have the PCM flashed by Jake at Northstar Performance, to remove it... dont need to... but the car can easily go past 156 MPH with it removed...

the CTS-V is a 200 plus MPH car, so you can see why they would need one....
