I think Seattle U was runner up to Kansas in the finals in 57.....Elgin had to sit out a year after transfer, and he took my 6'5" Dad to the cleaners when Elgin first hit the hardwood at SU in '56. From all accounts, Elgin was a wonderful human being, RIP.
