I heard that the fragment retrieved from Kirk's body was not an intact bullet. The fact that ATF couldn't conclusively say it came from Robinson's grandfather's rifle doesn't mean that it didn't.

Was there a deeper conspiracy? Maybe. I don't know. One thing I heard is that Kirk was not keen on the US going to war for Israel. Maybe someone working for the Israel lobby took him out. I don't know and don't care very much.
