This unfortunate thread has gone on long enough.

This whole stupid thing started when you continually suggested that someone who happened to make a different career choice than someone else several years ago was somehow a coward for supporting our troops regardless of whether history proves what they've carried recently was adviseble or not.

You've publically accused me of being a rascist and a nazi--when I challenged you to back up those statements by re-posting any racist statements I've made on this forum--you haven't.

Fortunately no one has attempted to personally attack me in person verbally or otherwise.

This is America and everyone is entitled to an opinion on politics and national security--it's un-American to suggest otherwise.

I wish this whole thing had never started, and if we could start over that would be fine by me.

But you've made some pretty serious threats, including turning someone into shark or crab bait. One thing that has 'stuck with me' is that you said you were going to, "operate with surgical precision". If that's some 'not so suttle hint' that you're going to pull a knife on someone--one should keep in mind that 2nd Amendmaent rights are cherished for just such occasions.

I hope I was wrong about what I suspected you may have been hinting at---I also hope we can wipe this ugly slate clean and start over.
