We have 2 labs (no relations to none of the mentioned above), the male is 10 and the female is 4. They are the 2 best dogs I have ever owned or been around (I maybe slightly biased) but those 2 love socks. You can't accidently drop one and bend over to pick it up before they suck them up. They both have had 2 surgeries a piece for obstructions (yeap socks) at a cost of about 1000 a piece. No worries though I grounded my wife for not keeping the laundry picked up.
