I will root for the Niners for precisely the reason that Hank mentions. Same reason that I root for the Ducks when they are in a Bowl game (like when was the last time they weren't!). But, Jim Harbaugh is a real piece of work, say what you want about Pete, but he doesn't behave like a petulant child on the sidelines. I also think that Alex Smith was given a raw deal but he and Matt Flynn will make some teams very happy this off season. And even though I don't much care for Kaepernich (sp.), he has shown some definite skills.
