1) They attacked us, by funding the conspirators of 9/11. Is that really hard for you to understand?

2) Oil? HA! You might want to see the exact date the sanctions were put on... But I'll put a ballpark estimate at 12 years.

3) They dont want us there? Well, youre right! Houssein doesnt! But what about his people? The people who now see an eminent freedom approaching, running out and killing Iraqi soldiers. They DONT want to be freed huh?

#1. Actually, there is no solid evidence that Iraq was involved with the 9/11 debacle in any way. However, there is absolute proof that some of our "allies" (Qatar) have harbored and facilitated the escape of known al Queda lieutenants.

#2. I'm admittingly too ignorant to have a real opinion on the oil issue. But I do find it interesting that Halliburton was awarded the contract for extinguishing the oil well fires by the Army without soliciting bids by any other companies. I'm sure the fact that Cheney was once CEO had nothing to do with it.

#3. According to several news releases yesterday, the Iraqi people shouted anti-American chants and slogans all-the-while taking food from the humanitarian relief trucks we delivered. Additionally, the main opposition in Iraq has stated that it's nice what we're doing, but don't hesitate to leave once Saddam is dead (paraphrased for brevity). They don't want us sticking around. Geez, at least mercenaries are paid; where does that put us?

I'm not necessarily anti-war, but I'm surely pro-peace.
