Removing Saddam Heussein from power is like having rotten teeth extracted. You are not going to negotiate them out, or sanction them out. You have to call on a professional to come in and forcibly remove them with the tools designed to get the job done efficiently. The dentist isn't going to smash me in the mouth with a hammer and remove all my teeth, just the bad ones. Then he's going to pull his hands out of my mouth and let me heal. That's what it sounds like we're doing over there. I don't like going to the dentist as much as the next guy. I don't like war either, but sometimes you don't have much of a choice. Pull 'em out before they infect the ones around them.
