I run 3.0" Win Double X for deer and it smokes. Oddly enough, I have an extended Carlson 00 buck choke that shoots lights out with standard 2 3/4, but kinda sucks with those DX's. I have no idea why. So I just stick with my factory full, 3 inchers and drop chit.

And that was my point. Forget the extended or aftermarket chokes. Just shoot the factory ones and learn how to shoot!
