It is disgusting, I must agree.

The sad social commentary here is that, if Clark pans out and becomes a great player, Seahawks fans (myself included) will forget this ever happened. "Win forever!"

I hate that so many guys like this get paid tens or hundreds of millions of dollars to play a game; it really is a social injustice. I mean, after what he almost certainly did to that girl, CenturyLink Field seems to be the wrong "clink" to send him to.

Everything the NFL does to publicly combat these issues amounts to no more than lip service. Until they implement a zero tolerance policy on violent crime, this stuff's going to continue to happen without real consequences. It's a shame we can't bring ourselves to quit watching a sport that, let's face it, is promoting violent crime by reinstating these guys, time and time again.
