I'm just messing around. I know I can go to the store - I just want to push the food supplies boundaries a bit. I wanted to use this whole situation as a "stress test" for the "system" per se. Mostly, I wanted to see how creative I can get in the kitchen with basic long shelf life foods. It's been kinda fun to figure out new recipes and try new-to-me cooking techniques. I've made some killer new things with dried beans, including my first attempt at homemade refried beans. Used rendered beef lard I made myself and Green Chilies I put up from last year. It's was delicious and pretty simple!
