The golf course at Lake Limerick in Shelton used to have a pond on it loaded with bass. They weren't huge, but they were hungry, and would clobber any topwater plug you threw out there.

They had some bunghole that would come and chase you off the course, but you could usually catch 4 or 5 bass before he showed up.
