So all these highly successful people that you allegedly know choose to surround themselves with a guy who lives in a trailer park and doesn’t have a job? Hmmm...

I read a book once called “a framework for understanding poverty” on the beach in Mexico ironically... and one of my biggest take aways was that people in poverty are highly relationally based. If you can’t acquire assets you acquire “people” as in... “yeah so and so is my homie... oh I know so and so... etc.” value is ascribed through who you know or in many cases who you allegedly know. It kind of all makes sense now.
