Actually that was not the original question, but as far as your (question) above goes. Let's break it down.

What should who do? If you are talking about your crudely named Trump supporters that you referenced in your 'original' question they will make up their own minds and Cohen's relationship with honesty will leave them skeptical of his testimony at the hearing.

If you were referencing Congress & Law enforcement then Hankster has it about right.

But your (question) hinges on, "*if* it's shown that Cohen is telling the truth" That begs the question, told the truth when? The fact is that Cohen has both told the truth and he has lied. I don't know how to tell the difference between his lies and his truth. I don't think the Democrats that were conducting the hearing do either, and furthermore I don't think that they care.

Which brings me to my conclusion which is that the hearing was pure political theater staged to advance their cause.
