Basic Gubmint 101. Immigration law is the responsibility of Congress. They have failed, period. The President can fiddle around within the law, direct through policy how things can be done, but it is the Congress that has to write law.

A major problem is that neither party will work with the other. look at the House now. They won't bring anything forward unless there are sufficient R votes to pass it. Are they afraid (both sides) that bipartisan middle ground solution will leave the bat-[Bleeeeep!] crazies on both Far Sides out in the cold?
