The solution doesn’t seem all that hard to me. A few ports where illegal aliens can become documented aliens. It has to be easy and predictable and remove any incentive to attempt an illegal entry. If you’re caught crossing the border at night you’re shot. If your caught crossing the border during the day you are shot. If you’re a family with kids, or just some dude who would rather work than gangbang, just cross at an authorized port. You may spend a few months in a refugee camp being vetted but you’d be on a bus heading to your new job soon enough. And once documented you can go home for Christmas once picking season ends.
