Making the agency a Cabinet agency, like old WDF, would keep it political. I mean, since Inslee appointed most of commissioners what kind of Director would he have picked? And we can remember Wilk, Blum, and Turner who were all appointees.

I believe part of the issue with the current Commission is simply an extension of the way most everybody approaches politics these days. My way or the highway. Who is actually rewarded for listening to both sides and making decisions based on input and not belief? And I am not pointing fingers in only one direction.
