So doing my morning coffee on the deck ( sometimes referred to as sunning myself like a Sealion ) I was surprised to see two good sized Chinook jump in front of the house. Bit unusual as Springers normally clear South Elma before the end of July. Also rather early for the Summer Chinook to show so I am going to go with a late Springers. That said I seldom see Springers show let alone two jump in this part of the Chehalis. The other thing is they were rather large and having spawned way more than one Chinook I can say they were large enough to fall into the damn difficult bracket.

Good to see as I haven't seen many Summerrun Steelhead this year only Sturgeon jumping.
